Survey on promising practices of family caregiver engagement
The Mental Health Commission of Canada’s Knowledge Exchange Centre (KEC) has been striving to promote the family caregiver’s voice and to enhance their recognition in Canada’s mental health and addiction (MHA) system. Working together with a health policy consulting group, GreyLit as well as our Family Caregiver Advisory Group, we are developing a “Best Advice Guide for Caregiver Engagement” to support organizations and service providers in developing strong caregiver engagement.
The Best Advice Guide seeks to synthesize the best available evidence on ways to support family caregiver engagement in Canada’s diverse MHA system. To ensure the guide remains as grounded, relevant and useful as possible, we are also seeking to highlight concrete examples of promising practices emerging from across Canada.
As a part of this effort we are reaching out to individuals like yourself to gain an understanding of the quality programs, initiatives, strategies or interventions that show potential and promise.
We invite you to answer the following questions to help us identify potential case studies to celebrated and shared through our Best Advice Guide. Your participation in this survey helps us celebrate and share innovative programs and policies that are currently and effectively engaging family caregivers.
