This team is just establishing itself offering friendly video and telephone reassurance to older adults, intake and professional assessment of needs, case management and referrals and resource finding with “warm hand-off” to referral support agencies; raises funds for tablets and cd players and distributes them in the community and LTC facilities; creating fidget boards and aprons for those in LTC and Retirement Homes in Secured or Memory Units to assist with boredom and loneliness and lower confusion and catastrophic response behaviours; research on a variety of issues impacted by COVID with older adults and caregivers
