In this program, resiliency expert, consultant and 5X author Allison Graham will walk us through concepts to build resilience through uncertain times. The goal is to make the best of a difficult time in history. Join us for some insights, laughs and connection. Social Worker Corey Janke will lead an engaging discussion on simple strategies to care for yourself, increase mindfulness, and reduce stress. Age Friendly Conference – Keeping Your Mind and Body Healthy
June 16, 2021 10-11am
Session will be recorded and shared for all who are registered. 

Wellness experts Lisa Joworski and Emily Bright will share tips for staying healthy both physically and mentally. Learn about programs to support your mental well-being and learn tips for staying active at home. Will include a seated exercise demonstration. Age Friendly Conference – The Healing Power of Music
June 23, 2021 10-11am
Session will be recorded and shared for all who are registered. 

Learn about the incredible healing powers of music with Jill Kennedy and Emily McCarthy, Music Therapists from Parkwood Institute. Also, learn about the London Symphonia Orchestra and the many wonderful programs they offer. All Conference sessions will be recorded and will be available to session registrants after the event.

Event 5: 

Age Friendly Conference – Power Stories – Navigating Covid-19
June 30, 2021 10-11am
Session will be recorded and shared for all who are registered.  

Join Keynote Speaker Dobijoki Emanuela Bringi for a conversation about the power of our stories and how valuable they are to human experience. Learn valuable African-centred principles and how they can be used by anyone to tap into their storytelling abilities. This presentation will highlight a number of ways that we can reconnect with one another during the pandemic restrictions using stories and simple technology.
